TCM was founded by David Liddle in 2001 and we have grown rapidly over the past ten years. With an expert team; our extensive experience; our depth of knowledge; and many, many years perfecting our mediation skills it is no surprise that we are widely regarded as the UK's foremost provider of business, employment and workplace mediation services.
Our mission and vision
TCMs mission is to become the world leader in all aspects of workplace, business and consumer mediation and dispute resolution. Our vision is to design and develop constructive dispute resolution systems for all of our customers. By 2015, we would like to embed mediation into every organisation in the UK and we would like to see every manager in the UK trained in basic mediation and dispute resolution skills.
Our experience
TCM is proud of its track record and rightly so. We have worked with thousands of UK companies to design and deliver mediation and ADR services. From major blue chip companies including BT, Shell, American Airlines and HSBC to large and complex government departments including the Cabinet Office, Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Defence and Department for Culture Media and Sport. We have developed mediation schemes in public sector organisations up and down the country including NHS Trusts, Universities, Councils and Police Forces. And recently, our international work has involved developing conflict resolution systems for Amnesty International, The UN and the European Patent Office. Our client list is impressive and we receive repeat business day after day, week after week, month after month.

At TCM, we resolve over 90% of all disputes referred to us:
- In 2006 we received 68 mediation referrals. We achieved a signed agreement in 66 cases.
- In 2007 we received 76 mediation referrals. Of these, 71 cases reached a signed written agreement.
- In 2008 we received 123 mediation referrals, of these 115 cases reached a signed written agreement
- in 2009 we received 164 mediation referrals, of these 157 reached a signed written agreement
- In 2010, we received 137 mediation referrals, of these 124 reached a signed written agreement
Over the past 3 years, we also received 28 requests to mediate in groups and teams. We have achieved a full agreement in 24 of the 28 cases.
