TCM 10th Anniversary
Welcome to TCM's 10 year anniversary scrapbook.
The TCM Group was formally incorporated as a Limited Company in June 2001. Since that time, we have worked with numerous organisations and individuals to deliver mediation or training services.
This page is an opportunity for our employees, associates, customers and partners (old and new) to share their experiences of working with TCM and to reflect on the benefits that mediation has brought to them and their organisations.
The page will act as a virtual and lasting scrap book covering TCM's development over the last 10 years and we look forward to reading your contributions.

Congratulations to TCM for 10 years of resolving conflicts and training so many people in practical skills. Many congratulations to David for taking the risk so many years ago and pioneering a new approach. Having been here just a year, I would also echo other comments that it is great to work with such a brilliant team and with such great clients.
Carol Corvan, Armagh City & District Council
Good luck with the celebrations and for the future.
Carole Russell , BT Retail
I hope that the celebration go well and all the very best for the next ten years

Many congratulations on your first decade, TCM! It is a great honour and joy to work with such talented and interesting people, both within TCM and amongst our many clients. Here's to many more decades!
David Liddle, The TCM Group
Being the founder of TCM, I must declare an interest - however, I do want to say what a thrilling and exciting ten years it has been.
I have seen the business grow from our basement offices in Clerkenwell into a thriving and well respected mediation and training centre in Hatton Garden. The TCM team are wonderful and I want to thank each of them individually and collectively for their hard work and commitment over the past ten years - you are inspiring. Thank you!
And of course, a huge thank you to all of our customers - old and new. You have given us some of the most enjoyable and often challenging assignments imaginable to work with. For many of you, I know that we have made a significant and lasting change to the way that you handle disputes and conflicts. For us that is what it is all about. It has been a pleasure building a relationship with each of you and here's to the next 10 years!!
In 2011, on our 10th anniversary, mediation feels as though it is finally coming of age. The past 10 years has seen TCM adopt a position of leadership in the UK and I look forward to building on this position - perhaps in 10 years time mediation will be a mainstream and credible part of every organisations business practices.
Until then, thank you for all of your support and happy mediating!
Dr Frances Green
I know the evening will go brilliantly - well deservedly - and I shall be applauding from afar.

Wonderful working with you and looking forward to furthering our mediation solutions - in partnership with you - over the next 10 years!
So sorry I could not make it on "the night" but know it would have been fitting for an organsiation which has pushed and shared the boundaries and scope of workplace mediation so far in such a space of time!
Good luck for the next 10 years and all that can be achieved through mediated solutions.
Meghan Arlinghaus, The TCM Group

To David and the Team at TCM,
Many congratulations on your birthday and to the FIRST ten years!
To be successful in business, above all else you need to be passionate about what you do - it is not something you can acquire - learn - pick up and put down like a book - rather, it is a quality from within - that overflows and is there for all to see and observe - that just keeps coming. The passion you and your team have for mediation is both inspiring and infectious.
It was on show when I undertook my workplace training with you in 2007; it was on show when you spoke at this year's as well as last year's Boyes Turner Annual Mediation Conferences; it continues to flow in all that you do after 10 years of TCM and that is why you are successful. Your clients feel it, your delegates and professional acquaintances sense it too. And that passion has changed not only people's attitudes to conflict, but has no doubt, even though you may not know it, transformed in many cases their very lives and has acted as a reminder that we all can grow and continually improve if we just step back and take a critical look at our ourselves - perhaps the ultimate message of mediation. So, "Keep The Passion"... And here's to the next ten years!
Best wishes Michael Farrier Partner Boyes Turner
Neil Jackson, Island Mediation
Congratulations David, what a great achievement. When you trained me (at Southampton University) it was your personal passion and commitment for mediation that I found so inspiring. keep on keeping on...Neil Jackson

Both a well done and a thank you to TCM! well done for making it through ten years of comprehensively managing UK workplace conflict (some of the most entrenched in the world!) And thank you for providing me with an opportunity to work for and alongside some of the biggest and most respected organisations in the world, meeting many extraordinary people along the way - that includes my colleagues! Well done and thank you!
Yvonne Walsh, HR Consultancy and Mediation
I was amongst the first cohort to be trained by TCM. I have found the training and subsequent use of mediation absolutely invaluable. As a senior HR professional I have actively promoted the use of mediation to resolve conflicts at work and seen the benefits. TCM has been a critical friend, coach and support throughout the last ten years.
Mediation is the way forward for gaining positive outcomes to difficult conflict situations at work and TCM has been visionary in this regard.
I look forward to David and his team continuing to promote the use of mediation particularly through the political agenda. TCM already lead the way in developing and promoting professional standards for mediators and I look forward to further developments in this area.
