London Underground has today announced that it has chosen The TCM Group to set up and run its mediation service.
London Underground went through an extensive procurement exercise and TCM was delighted that we were chosen as the preferred provider after a competitive and intensive process.
The new mediation scheme is a major step towards the introduction of an alternative dispute resolution system (ADR) within LU.

The new mediation scheme is a major step towards the introduction of an alternative dispute resolution system (ADR) within LU.
TCM has been commissioned to:

Design and deliver a company wide conflict audit in conjunction with Middlesex University
-
Support the recruitment and selection of a team of 36 mediators operating across LU.

Provide accredited mediation training for the mediators resulting in the award of the National Certificate In Workplace Mediation.

Develop an internal case management system using TCM's new e-Solve package.

Provide a substantial level of stakeholder engagement activities across the company

Provide ongoing support and professional development activities for the mediators
Evidence based practice
TCM will be working with LU management, Unions and other stakeholders to ensure that the scheme is monitored effectively and data collected will be used to continually develop and enhance the role of mediation within LU.
