Mediation and the Law

This FREE event will examine the role of mediation within existing statutory processes - with a particular reference to mediation and its role in employment law.

Following the Governments announced intention to repeal the statutory Dispute Resolution Regulations (DRR), mediation and ADR has the potential to bring a great many disputes to resolution without the need for formal litigation. Thereby saving money and considerable time and stress for all parties - the state, the employer and the employee.

This event will explore the potential benefits of mediation to each of these parties and consider how lawyers and mediators can come together to develop best practice and promote mediation within the UK legal system
