Introduction
The day utilises an action learning methodology and encourages mediators to:
- Consolidate their skills and competencies.
- Share their knowledge and experiences
- Develop core mediation skills
The days are an opportunity for mediators to come together to share best practice, to debrief case activities and to provide support and supervision from peers and facilitators. The events utilise an action learning model and all events are suitable for CIPD CPD use. Each session is facilitated by a highly experienced group facilitator. Some events may include guest speakers. The PMA utilises a highly effective and experiential action learning approach:

Group learning and identification of learning opportunities - Challenges and Opportunities.
Planning:
Individual and group action planning.

Focus on an area of practice (examples include advanced reframing, negotiating, overcoming impasse, problem solving, managing strong emotions etc)
Reflecting & Sharing:
One to one peer support and supervision.
